About Us
My name is Laura and I am a registered dietitian, passionate about how diet and lifestyle impact health and disease. I worked in the NHS from 2019 - 2023, during which I specialised in gastroenterology including IBS, inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease, as well as oncology (cancer), and surgery.
Stemming from my degree in biochemistry, I am fascinated with how the body works on a cellular level and how we support this through diet, movement and lifestyle.
From working in the NHS I have seen first-hand the detrimental effects of poor diet and unhealthy lifestyles. Unfortunately, we live in an obesogenic world, one where making a healthy choice is no longer the easy option. I want to help people take back control, to understand how they can make effective and sustainable changes to how they live.
In May 2023 I took a career break to move to Cape Town for a year with my husband. I used this year to complete my Level 2 and Level 3 personal training certifications, as I feel that both diet and movement are key for health.
